Drogheda-based Artur ONER works across murals, signs and graphic design. Typography, vivid colour and natural forms are recurring interests in a practice that began with graffiti.
ON THE WALL / ONER
Artur 'ONER' is a visual artist and sign painter based in Drogheda. He is passionate about typography, nature and bold colours and these are essential to his work. His creative journey began in 1996, when he discovered graffiti for the first time. He was hooked instantly as colourful images from around the world made him realize that all he wanted was to be part of this vibrant global community. Since graduating as a Graphic Designer at DID in 2014, he's been gaining experience with large scale murals, traditional hand painted signs and scenic designs.

Dundalk’s distilling industry once occupied a ten-acre site and helped shape the town’s economy. The distillery’s striking square chimney was a landmark for ships approaching the port. ONER’s mural recalls that industrial world beside surviving buildings now used by the County Museum and library.
