Milu Correch’s mural recalls The Irish Girl, a three-masted schooner launched in Dundalk in 1876. Built in John Connick’s shipyard, its arrival was celebrated by crowds and decorated ships. The artwork evokes the busy quays and seafaring life that shaped the town.
