Barcelona-based Tirso Paz Sans, known as Bublegum, developed his practice through graffiti and hip-hop culture. His work blends detailed portraiture with expressive graffiti elements and natural forms.

"Bublegum (Tirso Paz Sans) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Barcelona, Spain. Influenced by hiphop culture, he started writing on the walls when he was 16 years old, becoming his passion until today. His evolution has been self-taught, also inspired by other disciplines such as tattoo, he has progressed to become a multidisciplinary artist with murals all over the world and artworks in international galleries. His eye catching art style is a merger between photorealism and graffiti elements that bring movement.
His main inspiration are female portraits and nature elements. He is recognised by the softness with he paints the portraits, his wild and colorful roses and his own 3D letters style developed for years. His work stands out for creating visually pleasing compositions where light plays a key role. Currently, he balances his time between murals, gallery exhibitions and digital designs. Bublegum, continues to bring freshness to the graffiti scene, thinking about what the next piece will be and how to beat the previous one."

Bublegum’s 2024 interpretation of Edward de Bruce formed another chapter in this evolving mural location. The subject recalls the Scottish campaign in Ireland and Edward’s claim to Irish kingship. This version was replaced in 2025 and remains part of the festival archive.
